Its menu showcases some beloved staples, making it a haven for fans of authentic flavors and those curious to explore the culinary diversity of the region.

The dining experience here strikes a balance between comfort and authenticity. Signature dishes like the Hainanese Chicken Rice stand out with tender, poached chicken paired with fragrant, well-seasoned rice, accompanied by classic chili-ginger sauce that elevates the dish’s subtle nuances. The Laksa, rich in coconut cream and bursting with a hint of spice, captures the complexity of traditional Singaporean laksa while remaining accessible to those new to the flavor profile.

Not to be missed is the Nasi Lemak, a homemade coconut rice dish that brings back the unmistakable aromas and textures reminiscent of street stalls in Singapore. The Kaya Toast with Soft-Boiled Eggs offers a nostalgic breakfast delight—crisp toast layered with sweet coconut jam and butter, balanced by velvety eggs. These dishes anchor the menu, appealing to a broad audience ranging from mall shoppers and families to food enthusiasts seeking regional authenticity.

The atmosphere inside Nanyang is casual and inviting, with efficient service often praised by diners even during closing hours. The space accommodates small groups well but can fill up quickly during peak hours, so visiting on weekdays might enhance the experience. Background music adds a subtle layer of relaxation, complementing the overall ambiance without overpowering conversation.

Nanyang’s beverage selection enriches the meal, offering classic local drinks such as iced Teh Melaka infused with palm sugar, and traditional malted milk drinks reminiscent of regional hawker stalls. These beverages not only refresh but deepen the cultural immersion during the meal.

While the dishes generally achieve consistent quality, occasional variations in taste have been noted, which is typical of establishments serving freshly prepared Southeast Asian fare. Pricing aligns well with the portion sizes and the authenticity offered, making it accessible for diners looking for a flavorful yet budget-friendly meal within the mall setting.

In sum, Nanyang at SM City Fairview is an excellent destination for those seeking the tastes of Singapore and Malaysia without leaving Metro Manila.  Cuisine: Singaporean/Malaysian-inspired If you're craving authentic Southeast Asian flavors right in Quezon City, Nanyang at SM Fairview is a solid choice. Specializing in Singaporean and Malaysian dishes, this restaurant offers a taste of hawker-style favorites with a cozy dining setup.  Must-Try Dishes: Hainanese Chicken Rice – Tender poached chicken with fragrant rice and a side of chili-ginger sauce. A classic done well! Laksa – Rich, coconut-based noodle soup with a spicy kick. The broth is flavorful, though some might prefer it thicker. Char Kway Teow – Stir-fried flat rice noodles with smoky wok hei (breath of the wok) flavor. Packed with egg, shrimp, and Chinese sausage. Kaya Toast with Soft-Boiled Eggs – A perfect breakfast or snack—crispy toast with sweet coconut jam paired with creamy eggs. ⭐ Highlights:  Flavorful & Authentic – Tastes close to the real deal, especially the Hainanese Chicken and Laksa.  Affordable – Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.  Quick Service – Efficient for mall dining.  Room for Improvement:  Consistency – Some dishes can vary in taste depending on the day.  Limited Seating – Gets crowded during peak hours.  Price Range: ₱150–₱350 per dish  Final Verdict: 4/5 Nanyang SM Fairview delivers satisfying Singaporean-Malaysian comfort food. While not perfect, it’s a great spot for a quick, flavorful meal. Worth revisiting for the Chicken Rice and Kaya Toast! Pro Tip: Visit on weekdays to avoid the crowd.

Solid food and a happy table. The Hainanese chicken—both fried and classic—was great, and their signature spread was a hit with my kiddos (always the real test). We’ll definitely be back for the rest of the list on their menu.

This is a great restaurant if you want to experience Singaporean food. The Nasi Lemak and the Kopi are on point to what we tasted in Singapore. The traditional Kaya toast was also delicious and similar to what we had. The serving size and taste are great value for the money.

Nanyang SM City Fairview opened Feb 28, 2024, and we dined on March 5. We ordered the Hainanese Fried Chicken and Curry Chicken with Toast. Do try with Toast, it's a different kind of dining experience. Food so tasty we had to order a second cup of rice.

Dropped by Nanyang SM Fairview and ordered their Iced Honey Yuzu and Hot Tea. I absolutely loved the Iced Honey Yuzu—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. The place has a nice, clean setup with a cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot to sit down and relax. Service was quick and efficient, and I also noticed a guy in business casual attire—probably the manager or even the owner of the branch. He was very polite and made sure that everyone was being served properly, which added to the great experience.
